Faith in Action! Summer Camp 2025!

Calling all young performers! This summer, Radcliffe Presbyterian Church and Broadway On Bankhead team up fo a two-week summer camp for ages 5-18. Join us for a unique experience empowering young people to bring the Bible to life. “Faith In Action” will take place from June 9th to June 20th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily, at Radcliffe located at 286 Hamilton E. Holmes Drive NW in Atlanta. The camp will offer a fresh and engaging alternative to traditional summer programs, providing a space where young people can explore their creativity, develop new skills, and deepen their understanding of biblical stories.

The camp’s curriculum will center on the theme of readiness, inspired by Matthew 24:3-8, and brought to life through:

The camp will culminate in a theatrical production of “The Rapture”, performed during the 11:00 AM worship service at Radcliffe on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025. This performance will be a celebration of the participants’ journey and a powerful presentation of faith in action.

General Questions

Faith In Action” is a two-week summer camp presented by Radcliffe Presbyterian Church and Broadway on Bankhead, offering a unique blend of Bible study, theatrical arts, and African cultural celebration. Children and youth (ages 5-18) will explore the theme of readiness in Matthew 24:3-8 and participate in a theatrical production.

The camp will take place from Monday, June 9th to Friday, June 20th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily. The location is Radcliffe Presbyterian Church, 286 Hamilton E. Holmes Drive, Atlanta 30318. There will also be a dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 21st (time TBD). The final performance will be held during the 11:00 AM worship service at Radcliffe on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025.

While both VBS and “Faith In Action” offer faith-based learning, this camp provides a more intensive and immersive experience, with a strong emphasis on developing creative skills through theatrical arts and exploring African culture. The camp culminates in a full theatrical production.

Questions For Children/ Youth

You’ll get to be a performer and storyteller! You can act, learn about exciting stories from the Bible, explore African culture through music and movement, and work with others to put on a real show! There are also opportunities to work as production assistants and help behind the scenes.

No experience is necessary! This camp is for everyone, whether you love being on stage or are just curious to try something new. The Broadway on Bankhead team will teach you everything you need to know.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move in. Bring a water bottle, a snack, and a Bible (if you have one). We’ll let you know if you need anything else for specific activities.

Yes! “Faith In Action” is a great place to meet other kids who are excited about acting, learning, and having fun.

Questions For Parents

Yes, the safety of your children is our top priority. We will have trained and background-checked volunteers and staff supervising all activities. We will also collect detailed medical information and emergency contacts for each participant.

The registration fee is $100 per family. Limited scholarships are available for families with financial need. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Yes, there will be a dress rehearsal on Saturday, June 21st. The exact time is to be determined.

Questions For Volunteers

We have a variety of volunteer roles, including small group leaders, food service and registration support.

The time commitment varies depending on the role. Most volunteers will be needed during the camp, June 9th-20th, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Some roles may require additional time for preparation and the performance on June 22nd, and the dress rehearsal on June 21st.

Yes, all volunteers will attend training sessions to familiarize themselves with the schedule, safety procedures, and their specific roles and responsibilities.
